Macs & More Frequently Asked Questions

  • Just like a cake with buttercream frosting, a macaron is best enjoyed within the first few days of being made. Kept refrigerated in an airtight container, macarons will remain fresh for 7-10 days, or up to 2 months if frozen in the same manner.

Removing macarons from the fridge and leaving them at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before serving will give them the perfect opportunity to shine and be at their best.

  • Mostly, yes! Since they are made of almond flour, macarons are typically free of gluten-containing ingredients.

Some fillings may contain gluten, such as cake flavored macarons, so please ask before ordering!

Please note that my home bakery is NOT a gluten-free space. While we take the utmost care to prevent cross contamination, we cannot guarantee that the final product will not have come into contact with gluten at any time. If you have a sensitivity or allergy to gluten, please keep this in mind when and if ordering.

  • During in person events, you can pay for your purchase with cash, credit card, gift card, tap-to-pay, or Venmo.

For all orders that require prepayment, you will be emailed an invoice and can pay with credit card or gift card. You can also pay via Venmo for custom orders, and will receive an emailed receipt once your payment has been manually recorded.

  • Due to the delicate nature of macarons, as well as the state laws surrounding cottage bakeries, mailing orders is not an option at this time.

All custom orders are picked up at my home bakery on your pickup day during an agreed upon time frame, and seasonal pre-orders will provide pickup information on your receipt email with a date and time for pickup.

  • You have always wanted to try your hand at macarons, but YouTube videos and Instagram reels just are not cutting it for you! Look no further than Ivy’s Macs & More.

The 90 minute private session costs $300 and accommodates you and up to 3 friends, resulting in 4 dozen macarons that are yours to enjoy at the end. Light refreshments will be served, and BYOB options can be discussed during the booking process.

This cost is per SESSION, not per PERSON. The class is taught at my home bakery, in a relaxed and easy going environment, where you can ask questions as we go and take as much time as you need. Classes will typically be offered during week day evenings, or brunch times on weekends.

  • “I said I don’t like macarons, and she asked well have you tried them? And I said no. The next day she had a box for me. Needless to say I’ve purchased every box she has done since. Also have purchased large orders for birthday party and bridal shower. The macs are the best, you will not be disappointed. Chewy, creamy, sweet, and not to mention so pretty! The perfect bite each time. Literally. I can go on and on about how good they are but just try them for yourself and you’ll see! Ivana couldn’t be nicer as well!”

  • “These macarons cannot be topped! Always fresh and tasty. Ivana thinks of the most creative flavor combinations and they are all awesome. She is also easy to work with for special orders. I ordered several dozen for my daughter's birthday party and they were just as I requested - will definitely purchase more macs in the future!”

  • “I have been ruined (in a good way)! I cannot eat macarons anywhere else because they do not compare to Ivy’s macarons. They are simply the best! Ivana puts the perfect amount of love into each one and I am convinced that is the ingredient that makes hers superior over others. She has achieved a level of impossible - the consistency of Ivana’s macarons are crunchy, chewy, flaky, and soft all at the same time. If you have not tasted these little gems yet, please give Ivy’s Macs a try. These treats are well worth the money!”
